(Update 2026) IELTS Speaking Part 1 Topic Views

1. Do you like taking pictures of different views?

Yes, I really enjoy taking photos of different views. l’ m not a professional or anything, but whenever I see a beautiful sunset or an interesting city scene, I like to snap a quick picture. It’s a simple way to capture the moment and look back on it later.

2. Do you prefer views in urban areas or rural areas?

I think I prefer rural views. Don’ t get me wrong, city skylines can be exciting, but they’re often crowded and noisy. Rural areas, like mountains or countryside, help me unwind and feel relaxed. It’s nice to get away from it all and just enjoy nature.

3. Do you prefer views in your own country or in other countries?

I’ d say I prefer views in other countries because they feel fresh and exciting. Everything is new and different, so it really blows my mind sometimes. But of course, my own country also has some beautiful places, so I appreciate both.

4. Have you seen an unforgettable and beautiful view or scenery?

Yes, definitely. Last year I went hiking in a national park, and when I reached the top, the view was absolutely breathtaking. I saw mountains stretching far away and clouds floating below me. It was so beautiful that I just stood there speechless. That memory is etched in my mind forever.

1. Do you like taking pictures of different views?

Yes, but I’m a very selective photographer. I usually take a few photos at the start, when everything feels new. Then I stop, because if I keep taking pictures, I stop actually seeing the view. For me, photos are like notes – just enough to remind me later, not to replace the memory.

2. Do you prefer views in urban areas or rural areas?

It depends on my energy level. When I’m busy, 1 enjoy city views because they feel alive – lights, traffic, people everywhere. But when my brain feels overloaded, rural views work better. They don’t try to impress you. They just sit there and let you breathe.

3. Do you prefer views in your own country or in other countries?

I used to think foreign views were more exciting, but that changed. When I travel abroad, everything looks good, but it feels distant. Views in my own country hit differently because I understand the details – the signs, the habits, even the silence. Familiar views can surprise you in quieter ways.

4. Have you seen an unforgettable and beautiful view or scenery?

Yes, and surprisingly, it wasn’t a famous place. It was early morning, on a slow bus ride, when the city was half asleep. The light was soft, the streets were quiet, and for a few minutes, everything felt paused. I didn’t take any photos — and that’s probably why I still remember it so clearly.
