1. What is your favourite food?

My favorite food is hot pot. Mainly because it’s rich flavor and interactive dining
experience
. You know, I love how you can customize everything from the broth base to the ingredients which make every meal feel really unique and satisfying. More than just food, it’s a comfort dish that can bring people together and create a strong sense of warmth and connection.

2. What kind of food did you like when you were young?

When I was young, I was pretty into sweet and fried foods like chocolate or French fries. Back then, I cared more about taste than nutrition and anything crispy or sugary.

3. Has your favourite food changed since you were a child?

Yeah, it has changed quite a lot since I was a kid. I used to prefer sweet and fried food, as I said before, but now I’m more into healthier and well-balanced meals. As I’ve grown older, I’ve started to care more about nutrition and long-term health rather than just taste.

4. Do you eat different foods at different times of the year?

Yeah, absolutely. Especially because of seasonal changes. In summer, I prefer lighter and refreshing foods, while in winter, I’m more drawn to warm and hearty foods.

I’m absolutely hooked on luosifen. That’s rice noodles in snail broth. It’s a total flavor bomb: savory, spicy, tangy, and just hits the spot.
That said, it really divides people because of its strong smell; it’s very much a
love-it-or-hate-it kind of thing. I’m definitely in the “love it” camp.

2. What kind of food did you like when you were young?

I was really into anything sour or spicy. Snack-wise, l’d binge on spicy sticks, and for meals, I was all about comfort food like scrambled eggs with tomatoes or sweet and sour pork-classic “kids’ dishes.” Looking back, I was a bit of a picky eater, honestly.

3. Has your favourite food changed since you were a child?

Definitely. It’s like my taste buds have grown up along with me. As a kid, I was all about instant noodles; they were my comfort food.
But now I’m much more health-conscious, so my favorite has become simple home-cooked meals because they make me feel better.

4. Do you eat different foods at different times of the year?

Yeah, l’d say it’s mostly tied to traditional festivals, like zongzi during Dragon Boat Festival or mooncakes for Mid-Autumn; they’re steeped in culture. As for everyday meals, I don’t really follow seasonal trends; I just eat what I’m in the mood for.

My favorite food is corn. I’m especially drawn to its sweet taste and juicy texture. Plus, corn is quite healthy since it’s rich in dietary fiber. That’s why I enjoy any dish made with corn, such as corn soup, boiled corn, and corn salad.

When I was a kid, I loved sweet treats like doughnuts and cakes. Anything sugary would put me in a good mood. However, my parents didn’t allow me to eat too much since they believed it was bad for my health and my teeth. As a result, I only got to enjoy sweets about two or three times a week.

My taste has changed a lot. I’ve shifted from sweet foods to healthier options. Now I prefer less processed foods like vegetable salads and boiled dishes. Eating this way makes me feel less burdened, and as I’ve gotten older, I’ve noticed my metabolism slowing down, so these foods really help with maintaining a healthy weight.

4. Do you eat different foods at different times of the year?

Yes, I try to avoid out-of-season vegetables and fruit. For example, spring vegetables are fresher and more tender, summer fruits are sweeter and juicier, and autumn crabs are at their best. I believe eating with the seasons not only brings out the most natural flavors but is also better for my health.
